CARES AIRPLANE SAFETY HARNESS
Our older son was always wonderful on airplanes. He jumped right into his seat, buckled his belt, and amused himself throughout the flight with various activities I brought on the plane. Passengers would comment on how well behaved he was on the plane. How awesome is that?
Fast forward. Along came son #2 and our travel luck was about to end. Our first flight was a D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R. He did not want to stay in his seat. He didn’t want to keep his lap belt buckled. He spent the entire flight squirming around trying to stand on the seat and “look” at the passengers surrounding us. I even got the, “Ma’am he’s going to have to stay seated with his seat belt buckled” from the flight attendant. How could this be? I packed everything all good travel moms keep handy. Crayons, activities, snacks, juice, drinks, we had a new toy for goodness sakes! Why won’t he just sit???
This was never going to happen again. We could skip airplane vacations until he was older or we could figure out a way to keep him in the seat.
I ordered a Cares Airplane Safety Harness for our next flight and we were very happy with the results.
- The harness is lightweight and easily fits into your purse or carry on bag.
- It fits over the back of the seat, adjusts easily, and works in conjunction with the airplane’s lap belt.
- It is FAA approved and provides extra safety during some of the bumps common during air travel.
Best of all, it was no big deal for our son to wear as it felt similar to being in a car seat.
On our next flight, when I pulled the belt out of my bag the flight attendant came over, thanked me, and assisted me with adjusting it to our son’s seat. I have since loaned the harness out to several friends who purchased their own after trying it on their flight.
Overall this is an easy to use, easy to carry product that provides extra airplane safety for small children and piece of mind for parents.
